The DEWA R&D Center is looking to fill the vacancy of a researcher to contribute to project for Automated and safe operations on high voltage power lines using robotic solutions. Specifically, the researcher will develop:

This project focusses on development of AI-assisted robotic manipulator for inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) of industrial infrastructure. Additionally, sensor systems, for gathering the field data, recoding the conventional maintenance, and camera network need to be developed.
Candidate should have knowledge in both classical and learning based computer vision, AI, OpenCV, Python and familiar with ROS. The Candidate should be experienced in at least one of the AI-ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch with some familiarity in Robotics. He should be able to lead the project and work closely with the business unit to deliver the project.
